The birth of Moises
Moises was founded in 2019 by amateur drummer and CEO Geraldo Ramos, who sought a way to enhance his practice while drumming along to his favorite songs. After reading about an openly accessible model for separating audio, he dedicated himself to creating his own system that would isolate instruments from any song, enhanced and developed using an AI engine.
Taking inspiration from the biblical story of Moses’ parting of the Red Sea, not only did Geraldo solve his drum practice challenge, he created Moises - an app that empowers music creators, learners, and enthusiasts to practice, record, and produce music in innovative and personalized ways through the effective use of AI.
Five years later, Moises has an incredible 50+ million users - a milestone that highlights our app's popularity and the significant impact it has had on musicians and music creators worldwide.
