Studio brings multitrack recording, MIDI production, and Moises’ newest AI tools into a single shared session where musicians can record, arrange, edit, and create together from anywhere.
A wave of AI tools now generates full songs from text prompts. Studio is built on the opposite principle: AI should not make music for you.
The U.S. Copyright Office has made clear that human creativity is central to copyright. Consistent with this principle, Moises designed Studio to generate complementary stems and samples based on the music an artist is already creating. Rather than producing a full song, Studio responds to the artist’s existing work. Each generated part remains editable, allowing the artist to reshape and arrange it while retaining control over the final production.

Make Music Together
With Studio, artists share a project with a link and edit the same session simultaneously, seeing each other’s cursors and leaving comments directly on the timeline, whether they are across the room or across the world.
Studio runs in the browser with no installation, and the heavy lifting happens in the cloud. Recording once required a room full of equipment, then it fit on a laptop, and now it fits in a browser tab. “A kid with a laptop can now tap into the same kind of computing power used in a major studio,” Ramos said. “Lack of access to expensive equipment no longer decides who gets to make records.”
- Create together: Collaborators, producers, and writers can edit the same project simultaneously, record multiple instruments and takes, and arrange them across a multitrack timeline.
- AI that follows your music: Create a part, and Studio can add drums, bass, guitar, keys, strings, and other parts that match the project’s key, tempo, genre, and instrumentation. New transcription models turn both recorded and generated performances into editable MIDI, so musicians can change the notes and keep building.
- Agentic Mode: Ask in plain language to comp the best takes, clean up a noisy recording, or build an effect chain. As the agent works inside the session, every step is visible and reversible, and every musical decision stays with humans.
- Train private voice models: Musicians can also train private Custom Voice Models from their own recordings, in addition to the 50+ licensed voices in Studio. The models are private by default and never shared or used without permission.
- Bring your existing workflow: Everything in your existing setup, from MIDI controllers to VST collections, will be available and compatible in Studio.
- Export anywhere: Export mixes, stems, MIDI, and MusicXML, or move the full session into existing production software through DAWproject.
- Finish and release: Auto-Mixing adjusts levels and effects across more than 20 musical genres, with mastering tools to finish the track.
Studio also introduces Moises’ biggest Stem Separation upgrade to date. Retrained on significantly larger licensed datasets, the new models detect and separate 30+ instrument and vocal categories, delivering cleaner stems that stand on their own.
Technology Musicians Can Trust
Moises trains its AI models only on licensed content and does not use anything users upload to train its models.
“We don’t train on anything our users upload. Not one file,” said Ramos. “Artists control how their own voice and music are used, and the technology gives musicians more creative decisions to make, not fewer. Trust is built into the product, not added to the marketing later.”
