(UA), a worldwide leader in audio production tools, today announced a new integration with Moises, bringing Lyric Transcription and Chord Extraction directly into LUNA, UA’s award-winning DAW. The integration makes it easier to follow lyrics, understand chord progressions, and build new parts from existing performances — all without leaving a session.
Released in 2020, LUNA was the first DAW to offer authentic analog channel strips, summing, and tape extensions from Neve, API, Studer, and Ampex. With today's announcement, LUNA continues to evolve as a musician-focused DAW, combining professional recording tools with smart features designed to remove the barriers between inspiration and a finished record.
Available in UA's fully equipped LUNA Studio, the new Moises-powered tools let musicians transcribe vocals and identify chords directly in their projects. Lyric Transcription automatically creates a time-aligned lyric browser, while Chord Extraction detects chords from audio and maps them to LUNA’s Chord Track, allowing users to add new parts with ARA plug-ins like Celemony Tonalic. Together, the tools make it faster to learn a song, build new arrangements, or follow along during a session.
