Jam Sessions is a global music challenge hosted by Moises, inviting musicians and producers to create, perform, or reimagine music using exclusive tracks from featured artists. Participants can submit either a cover (live performance) or a remix (production-based reinterpretation) using Moises’ tools or their own setup. Entries are reviewed by a designated panel, with winners selected for prizes, recognition, and exclusive opportunities tied to each contest edition.
Anyone 13 years or older with a valid Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube account can enter. If you're under 18, make sure you have permission from a parent or legal guardian. Employees of Moises and partner organizations are not eligible to win.
The timespan ranges from February 5th-March 31st, 2026. Submit your cover or remix anytime from 12 a.m. ET of the first day to 11:59 p.m. ET of the last day.
There’s no limit! You can submit as many entries as you’d like during the submission period, as long as each one is an original take on “Beat Yourself Up.”
Each category has one Grand Prize winner and two Finalists. Prizes vary by category.
Best Live Performance (#Cover) – Grand Prize Winner receives Finalist prizes plus:

Contest Details
We teamed up with GRAMMY-nominated artist and producer Charlie Puth to bring his newest single “Beat Yourself Up” to Moises Jam Sessions.
Whether you’re performing a cover or a producing a remix, you have full access to the original stems and the freedom to reimagine them your way. Instrumentalists and vocalists can mute or solo instruments and add their own parts for a fresh take. Producers can dive into the stems, flip them, and build a remix that takes the track in a whole new direction.
Jump in, create your version of “Beat Yourself Up”, and share it with the world. Jam Sessions is your space to express yourself creatively and be heard.

Submission Phase

Post your cover or remix of “Beat Yourself Up” on Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube with the hashtag #MoisesJamSessionsContest. Add #Cover or #Remix to enter the right category.
Your video must be at least one minute long. Covers should be shared as performance videos, while remixes can be uploaded as a static image or a video playing your track.

Review Phase
April 1 – April 16
A panel of artists, industry guests, and the Moises team will review all entries. Charlie Puth will personally select the winners for both categories.

Winner Announcement Phase
April 17
Winners and finalists will be announced across Moises' social channels and contacted directly. Charlie Puth will personally reveal the top picks in both categories.
Judging Criteria
Entries are judged on musicianship, creative approach, and originality.
- Cover entries are judged on instrumental or vocal ability, performance creativity, arrangement choices, and emotional impact.
- Remix entries are judged on originality, creativity of the concept, quality of production and mix, and how well the track delivers as an overall listening experience.
How Winners Are Chosen
Judging happens in three steps:
1. Selection Process – From all eligible submissions, 50 Covers and 50 Remixes will be chosen by an editorial panel comprised of professional musicians.
2. Finalist Review – A group of artists, industry guests, and the Moises team will evaluate the 100 selected entries, choosing the top 3 in each category to advance.
3. Charlie Puth’s Final Call – Charlie personally reviews the finalists and crowns the winners in both Cover and Remix categories.
